1. The General Terms and Conditions (GTC) form the basis for a successful relationship with our guests. By confirming your reservation/order via email or through the website, you agree to the GTC of Restaurant de MATOS (StiDeM Gastronomie AG).

 

2. Reservations (via email or our website) for events are only legally valid if made by legally competent adults. By clicking “Reserve” on our website or confirming your email, you enter into a binding contract with StiDeM Gastronomie AG.

 

3. All prices are quoted exclusively in Swiss Francs (CHF), including 8.1% VAT. All amounts are payable in full; no discounts or deductions are granted. Payments are accepted by credit card, Maestro card, or cash on the day of the event. In exceptional cases, an invoice will be issued after the event. For events with 20 or more persons or for exclusive use, a deposit of at least CHF 2,000.00 or 50% of the expected turnover is required in advance.

 

4. Your booking/contract is binding regardless of the number of guests. For no-show guests or cancellations of reservations (1–6 persons) less than 24 hours before the appointment, a fee of CHF 148.00 per guest will be charged.

 

5. Reductions in the number of guests for groups of 7 to 15 people can be reported free of charge up to 48 hours before the day of the visit. For later notifications (regarding fewer guests), a fee of CHF 148.00 per guest who does not attend will be charged.

Reductions in the number of guests for groups of 16 to 30 people can be reported free of charge up to 72 hours before the day of the visit. For later notifications (regarding fewer guests), a fee of CHF 148.00 per guest who does not attend will be charged.

6. Restaurant de MATOS can be booked exclusively regardless of the number of persons.
From Tuesday to Thursday, exclusive booking costs CHF 4,500.00, and on Friday & Saturday 
CHF 6,500.00. If this amount is not reached through consumption, the difference will be charged as room rental.

7. Cancellations of bookings for groups of 7–15 people can be made free of charge up to 14 days before the event. For cancellations made 13–2 days before the event, 50% of the expected turnover will be charged. Cancellations made 2–0 days before the event will be charged at 100% of the expected turnover.

Cancellations of bookings for groups of 16–30 people can be made free of charge up to 30 days before the event. For cancellations made 29–15 days before the event, 50% of the expected turnover will be charged. For cancellations made 14–3 days before the event, 75% of the expected turnover will be charged. Cancellations made 2–0 days before the event will be charged at 100% of the expected turnover.

8. The place of jurisdiction is Lucerne; Swiss law shall apply exclusively.
